I love photography, for the way it can capture a moment, a mood, find something hidden you didn't even know was there. 

As the daughter of a painter, I have always been drawn to the colors and luminance in paintings and the light differences between the photographic medium and painting. 

In these abstract photo series, I was playing with this physical difference, to see if I could bring them closer together.
